Bridget Sheehan
Bridget Sheehan was born in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago in 1987. She is a designer with focuses in industrial and graphic design, and holds a M.F.A in Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and a B.F.A. from Ball State University. Sheehan was the recipient of the RIT Industrial Design GlassLab Fellowship Award in 2014.
As a graduate student at Rochester Institute of Technology, Sheehan served as Graduate and Teaching Assistant to Professor and Department Chair, Josh Owen. She served as curator and designer of the annual RIT Industrial design alumni exhibition, Design Autopsy and acted as exhibition and graphic designer for the inaugural Research, Scholarship, and Creativity in the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.
Sheehan currently resides in Rochester, NY where she works full-time as a craftsman at designer Wendell Castle’s studio. Sheehan also works as an independent designer, and will start as an Adjunct Professor for RIT’s School of Design in fall 2014.
